Rica is a musi­ci­an, sound artist, audio engi­neer, and performer.

Rica takes plea­su­re in inspi­ring peo­p­le of all ages for music and the world of sound. As part of the lev coll­ec­ti­ve, she tea­ches the fun­da­men­tals of elec­troa­cou­stic music to peo­p­le of all ages. She is actively invol­ved in various music pro­jects and can often be found on stage—either behind the mixing desk or in the rehear­sal room. Rica works across the realms of music, inter­ac­ti­ve per­for­mance, thea­ter, dance, film, and installation.

Rica Zinn stu­di­ed Art, Music, and Media at Phil­ipps-Uni­ver­si­tät Mar­burg. Sub­se­quent­ly, she com­ple­ted the advan­ced stu­dy pro­gram in New Com­po­si­ti­on Tech­ni­ques and the M.A. Mul­ti­me­dia Com­po­si­ti­on at the Hoch­schu­le für Musik und Thea­ter Ham­burg.
She has been acti­ve in the inde­pen­dent music sce­ne in Ham­burg and Ber­lin for more than ten years, working at the inter­sec­tion of art and tech­no­lo­gy.
In her artis­tic work, she is inte­res­ted in the inte­gra­ti­on of various art forms and stri­ves to dis­sol­ve the boun­da­ry bet­ween the audi­ence and par­ti­ci­pan­ts through a par­ti­ci­pa­to­ry approach.
